One Interesting Evening...

I went out tonight. Last night, actually, with my sister, Emily, my best friend, Loran, my other close friend, Heather, and my sisters' friend, Darren. We went to the "Dollar Theater." (It actually costs $2. Liars!) It was a nice evening... at first. We met Darren at the theater. He was all by himself. Poor guy had to hang out with four teenage girls. We saw The Last Song. It was a great movie. I had already seen it before, but still, it was quite enjoyable. When the movie was over, we stayed and watched the credits wind up the screen. I have no idea why. After the movie, Loran and Emily and Heather mentioned that they were starving. (I highly doubt they were actually starving.) We went next door to the Taco Bell. It took the girls a total of 10 minutes to order their food. Emily exclaimed, "AHH! I want to sit in the tall chairs!" So we sat in the "tall chairs." It took us 45 minutes in the Taco Bell. On the way back to the cars in the theater parking lot, Darren decided to jump the white picket (sp?) fence. As he was getting warmed up to jump, Emily and Loran dug through their honkin' purses to retrieve their cameras. Darren eventually jumped the fence. Emily captured the jump on her camera. It was quite interesting.
When Darren was done jumping fences and Emily and Loran were through snapping pictures, we made our way back to the parking lot. As we were walking back to the car, a truck comes riding by. An older girl sticks her head out the window and glares at us. Emily, being her random self, yelled, "Hi!" This was unsurprising to us. Emily said hey to random people all the time. So this was no different. But actually, it was. We watched the truck park. The tiny woman opened her door before the truck had even come to a stop. We had reached the car by then but weren't inside. The woman started screaming bad words at us. We were taken aback. We definitely didn't expect this kind of reaction to a friendly hello. She came yelling at us screaming, "Who's the one talking stuff?!" She walked up to Loran and asked her the question over again. The woman had her fist up in Loran's face. Loran said hesitantly, "N-no." Then the woman glanced over at me and said, "Was it you then?! You the one talking stuff to me?!" I said, "All we did was say hey." She replied, "You don't need to be saying stuff to people you don't even know! I will stab you! Call the cops, Ho*!! Call 'em! I don't care! I ain't scared! Go on!" And then she started running back to her truck and Darren said to us, "You guys go on, go on!" Heather had already jumped into the car. (Chicken!) Emily sped off after that. We weren't entirely sure where Darren had gone, so we circled back around the parking lot, and didn't see him. We did, however, see the woman walking towards us. This time she was reaching into her purse. Emily sped off the other way, and we were gone. We still aren't sure what would have happened if we had stayed. We're just thankful that we ended up okay. We called Darren's house and he had made it home safely. It was nerve-wracking (sp?), yes. Personally, I thought it was just stupid that a tiny woman like her had come after a group of 4 teenage girls with this big guy standing right beside them, but we decided that she was high on something. But, despite the crazy verbal attack, it was a nice evening.
